The Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s inability to meet revised Naval Staff Qualitative Requirements on the indigenously Advanced Light Helicopter Dhruv has made the Navy look overseas. It seeks to acquire a utility helicopter that will perform anti-submarine warfare and communication roles.
