Russia will display its new S-400 air defense missile system for the first time at a major air show outside Moscow on August 21-26, a spokesman for the event said Thursday. MAKS-2007 is an aviation exhibition held every two years in the town of Zhukovsky, which hosts a military airbase. The event is expected to attract over 540 Russian companies and at least 200 foreign firms from over 30 countries this year.
"We are planning to display the [S-400] system as a stationary exhibit for both experts and regular visitors," the spokesman said.
