Submarine named for Twin Cities decommissioned

A nuclear-powered attack submarine named for the Twin Cities has ended 23 years of service.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul was decommissioned yesterday in a ceremony at the naval base in Norfolk, Virginia.

During its service, the ship visited 26 different ports and won four awards for battle efficiency.
