Sikorsky Aircraft Delivers Black Hawk Helicopters to Jordan

Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. today announced the delivery of three UH-60L BLACK HAWK helicopters to the Kingdom of Jordan and the scheduled delivery of another five in 2007.

Sikorsky, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp., made the announcement at the Paris Air Show.

The Jordanian Special Operations Aviation Brigade will use the BLACK HAWK helicopters for special operations and border security.

Since 1987 the Royal Jordanian Air Force has flown Sikorsky aircraft and currently operates five UH-60/S-70A helicopters in its Royal Squadron.
