Roll-Out of EADS’ A330 MRTT Multi Role Tanker Transport

Today, the first aircraft of the new generation A330 MRTT was rolled out of the hangar at the conversion centre of EADS CASA in Getafe near Madrid.

This milestone has been achieved one year after the start of the conver-sion, thus, the program has achieved an important milestone and is show-ing remarkable progress.

This aircraft is the first A330 MRTT to be delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force as part of the contract signed on December 20, 2004, between EADS CASA and the Commonwealth of Australia.
