Testing of strike helicopter Mi-28N shows its high reliability

Mi-28N strike helicopterTests of a Mi-28N strike helicopter are in progress quite satisfactorily, said Vladimir Mikhailov, Russia's AF commander-in-chief, in Rostov-on- Don. He arrived in Rostov to attend a meeting at Rostvertol as a chairman of a commission for Mi-28N testing.

Russia's AF commander-in-chief noted very high level of reliability of the helicopter.

I don't know any other flying vehicle having such a high level of flying capabilities. We have performed more than 300 flights of which only 17 were recognized as those not passed the testing, he said.

According to Mikhailov, efforts are being made in a very active way for marketing helicopters of the type, and with every year the work will be gaining momentum. He also said, first batches of the helicopters will be delivered to helicopter regiment N55 based at Korenovsk, Krasnodar territory.
