Air forces from India and Singapore in bilateral exercise

Mig-21 BisonIndia and Singapore kicked off bilateral air force exercises on Wednesday in West Bengal to learn from each other's operational tactics, said the city-state's defence ministry. F-16 aircraft are representing Singapore while MiG-27s and Bison fighter aircraft are participating from India in the manoeuvres at the Air Force Station Kalaikunda in Kharagpur until November 30.

The exercise "provides a valuable opportunity" for India and Singapore to enhance defence cooperation, the ministry's statement said.
