Russia inks aircraft deal with China


Russia is all set to supply its state-of-the-art amphibious anti-submarine aircrafts to China.

As reported by the Kommersant daily, Rosobornexport, Russia's main arms exporting agency, is to sign a $600 million deal with China.

The deal, expected to be signed later this year, would pave the way for Russia to supply the amphibious Beriev Be-200 aircrafts to China.

The Beriev Be-200, which is built by the IRKUT Corporation, is capable of landing and take off from the surface of the sea.

Moreover, it is equipped with the 'Sea Dragon' suite that enables in precision targeting of enemy submarines.
