Pakistan and the Netherlands have agreed to enhance their defence cooperation particularly in intelligence sharing, deployment of troops for crisis response missions and enhance coordination in Afghanistan for bringing stability there.
This was stated by the Netherlands Defence Minister, Henk Kamp while talking to newsmen after a meeting with Pakistan Defence Minister Rao Sikandar Iqbal here on Tuesday.
He said Pakistan is well known country in the world and it is important for his country to have good relations with Pakistan in all fields.
The Netherlands Minister told that both sides have made an agreement today to support deployment of Netherlands forces in Urdgan province of Afghanistan and hopefully both the countries will also sign an MoU on Intelligence Exchange in near Future, which has been discussed today. He said to enhance defence cooperation with Pakistan, the Netherlands has appointed a permanent military representative in Islamabad.
To a question, he said relations between Pakistan and Netherlands are very well and his country will do its best to make these ties even better.
