Selex to provide electronic warfare system for Brazilian Navy's Lynx helicopters

AH-11A LynxFinmeccanica's Selex has secured an order to deliver a suite of electronic warfare equipment for eight Lynx Mk21A aircraft used by the Brazilian Navy.

Under this contract, which was received from prime contractor AgustaWestland, Selex will be responsible for the supply of Sage electronic support measure (ESM), in addition to its defensive aid suite (DAS) controller, and a third-party countermeasure dispensing system.

Selex's electronic warfare system, Sage, is designed for RF intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.
