Saab to support Polish Air Force’s MiG-29 modernisation

Polish MiG-29 FulcrumSaab has signed a teaming agreement with Poland's Wojskowe Zaklady Lotnicze Nr 2 for the Polish Air Force's MiG-29 fleet modernisation programme.

The latest agreement will enable the aircraft to feature Saab's electronic warfare self-protection systems. In addition, the agreement will offer Saab an opportunity to cooperate on the modernisation of other systems in use with the Polish Air Force.

Saab Electronic Warfare head Carl-Johan Bergholm said: "As an international supplier of electronic warfare systems, Saab fully recognises the importance of finding the right partners to complement our portfolio.
