Kelvin Hughes SharpEye™ solid-state Doppler radar selected by world's navies


SharpEye™ solid state radars system of Kelvin Hughes, a world leading designer and supplier of navigation and security surveillance systems, was selected by 25 of the world’s navies and coast guards for 68 ships ranging in size and roles from fast patrol boats and OPVs to Corvette, Frigates and auxiliaries, the Company said in a press release.

Most recently, the Republic of Singapore Navy’s new Littoral Mission Vessels (LMVs) have been equipped with SharpEye™ to complement a range of advanced sensor technologies.

In addition, the Royal New Zealand Navy is employing SharpEye™ for the helicopter recovery system on its ANZAC class frigates, HMNZ Te Kaha and HMNZ Te Mana.
