USS Simpson returns home one last time

USS Simpson (FFG-56)The guided-missile frigate USS Simpson (FFG 56) returned to Naval Station Mayport for the final time Sunday.

More than 200 sailors returned home after successfully completing a seven-month deployment conducting theater security exercises.

On its final voyage, USS Simpson provided more than 1,500 flight hours in support of national tasking.
