Bergen wins Norwegian Armed Forces’ frigate maintenance extension contract

HNoMS Fridtjof NansenThe Norwegian Defence Logistics Organization (FLO) has awarded a one-year extension contract to Bergen Group for the technical maintenance of the navy's frigate class vessels.

Valued at Nkr70m ($9.41m), the contract has validity until July 2016.

In June 2012, Bergen received a comprehensive contract from FLO for maintenance and repair of frigate class.

The initial contract carried an option for annual renewal of up to three additional years until summer 2017. This contract marks the second renewal ordered by the navy.
