Iran’s new Fateh-class submarine test-launched
Deputy Navy commander Rear-Admiral Gholamreza Khadem-Bigham said on Wednesday the construction of Fateh-class submarine has been completed and it has been deployed to the Ministry of Defense.
After completing the experimental phase, the submarine will join Iran’s navy fleet, he said.
Khadem-Bigham maintained the power of Fateh’s missiles and torpedoes are more than Ghadir-class submarines, which are equipped with sonar-evading technology and can fire missiles and torpedoes simultaneously.
