DRS to provide electronic equipment for US submarines and vessels

USS Hampton (SSN-767)DRS Technologies, a Finmeccanica company, has received contracts from the US Navy to provide equipments for its submarines and other vessels.

The two indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity agreements have a total potential ceiling value of about $440m.

With an estimated ceiling value of $384m, the first contract will see the company upgrade electronic equipments fitted on the navy's different classes of submarines.
