Russian Warship Tops Syrian Port of Tartus

Vice Admiral Kulakov DDGThe anti-submarine destroyer Vice Admiral Kulakov, the Russian Northern Fleet, entered the Syrian port of Tartus after concluding their combat exercises in the Mediterranean Sea, today announced the official Sana news agency.

The media outlet, citing Russian sources, said that the ship will stay a week in Tartus, where the crew will conduct repairs caution and be refreshed.

Before joining the crew conducted military maneuvers in heavy traffic conditions and is also trained in detecting submarines and persecution, he said.
