Russia sent in its Iskander missiles to Crimea, according to a representative of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff who had spoken with the Ukraine Today. These short-range missiles are capable of carrying nuclear warheads, according to the report.
The missiles have a range of about 500 kilometres and each missile unit is manned by 108 personnel, according to the analysis of the Ukraine Crisis Media Centre.
