Australia Fires Mk 46 MOD 5 Torpedo Warshots With Unmanned Aircraft

MH-60R Seahawk 'Romeo'Australia's 816 Squadron demonstrated their core war capabilities as they test fire two Mk 46 MOD 5 torpedo warshots and 50 calibre machine gun aboard the Seahawk Romeo helicopter.

The test fire was conducted with the Navy Unmanned Aerial System Development Unit or NUASDU Scan Eagle Unmanned Aircraft.

The test firing was conducted in support of the development of a new anti-submarine warfare tactics for Australia.
