PAF aircraft crashes, pilot killed

Crashed PAF MirageA Mirage aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force crashed tonight on the outskirts of Karachi, killing the pilot.

The aircraft was on a routine night operational training mission when it went down in Gadaap area near Karachi, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) said in a statement.

The pilot of the aircraft Squadron Leader Tanvir Ahmed was killed in the crash, it said.
