India Thursday test fired two Akash surface-to -air missiles successfully from a base in Odisha.
The two missiles were simultaneously launched from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in Balasore district against two flying targets.
"The test was successful. The missiles intercepted moving unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)," Chandipur ITR director M.V.K.V. Prasad told IANS.
