Russia to Launch New Kaliningrad Radar Station in December

Russian Deputy Defence Minister Yuri Borisov on Wednesday has confirmed that the hi-tech Voronezh-DM radar system will begin military operations in Kaliningrad in December.
The new radar will offer the Russian Armed Forces a series of strategic and technical advantages.
"The station is certainly not inferior to its foreign counterparts and is in many ways superior, " Borisov told local media during a visit to Kaliningrad earlier Wednesday, the Itar-Tass news agency reported.

First the Russians moved Tactical Nuclear Weapons into Kaliningrad. Now the Russians stand up a large radar station. This radar will assist the Russians as they continue their incursions into neighboring airspace.
