Another regimental set of S-400 surface-to-air missile systems will soon be transferred to the Russian Defense Ministry, a spokesman for the Almaz Antey air defense systems manufacturer told Interfax-AVN on Thursday. "This regimental set will be handed over to the Defense Ministry as part of the 2014 state defense order on Friday, ahead of time," he said.
The S-400 systems will be handed over during a ceremony at the Kapustin Yar training range in Russia's Astrakhan region, he said.
