Russian Northern Fleet test latest fire cruise missiles
Naval forces from Russia's Northern fleet successfully launched five cruise missiles in the central part of the Barents Sea on Saturday.
Over the course of the drills, the crews of nuclear submarines ‘Voronezh’ and ‘Smolensk’ carried out underwater launches of Granit anti-ship cruise missiles, while the destroyer ‘Admiral Ushakov’ launched a Moskit cruise missile.
The 4K44 Redut coastal defense system was also tested with the launch of a Progress cruise missile.
