The Indian Air Force has refused the Russian Officials’ claim that it is set to order three more A-50 PHALCON Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft.The claim was made during the three-day Oboronexpo 2014 trade show Sunday.
The IAF confirmed that the talks are still in place on following an offer from Russia but no final decision has been taken in the regard. The IAF is looking for options from different aircraft platform for the AWACS role.
