Russia’s fifth-generation T-50 jet fighter will begin to be supplied to the Armed Forces from 2016, Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Viktor Bondarev said on Saturday.
“It [T-50] has already participated twice in the Aviadarts show and performed aerobatics figures in pairs with other planes. I think it has a bright future,” he told the Russian News Service radio, adding that plane was being created using stealth technology.
Several such planes have already begun testing at the Akhtubinsk range in the southern Astrakhan region.
