
"We cancelled the contract, got back our money and have agreed for arbitration. There is no change in all this. We have, however, asked for a report from our embassy, through its lawyer, about the purported shelving of legal proceedings against Finmeccanica," said a MoD official.
The call on whether or not to blacklist the entire Italian conglomerate Finmeccanica, with all its different companies, or just its UK-based subsidiary AgustaWestland will be taken after CBI completes its probe into the bribery case.

As a subsiduary of Finmeccanica,I doubt whether Westlands would have carried out any of the negotiations in regards to this contract. Surely it would have been done by the parent company.
