A senior Iranian commander on Saturday underlined the Armed Forces' capability to produce high-tech military equipment, including advanced air defense systems and high-precision ballistic missiles.The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Deputy Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami said the force has achieved a cutting-edge ‘secret’ air defense system and ultra-modern high-precision missiles.
He said a foreign country, whose name he withheld, had refused to supply Iran with a certain air defense system but the IRGC experts managed to produce a system more advanced than the one denied to the Islamic Republic.
