USNS Spearhead is billed as ship for all missions

USNS SpearheadHospital ship? Check. Cargo transfer? No problem. Troop transport? Bring them aboard.

The USNS Spearhead is meant to handle these types of missions and more. And with a top speed of 40 knots, it doesn't waste a lot of time.

The Spearhead docked at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story on Tuesday morning after a brief, maiden deployment that Navy leaders are calling a success.
