Air Force Mirage jet crashes in French countryside

Mirage 2000CFortunately no one was hurt when a Mirage 2000 jet belonging to the French Air Force crashed in a field in northeastern France Monday.

The pilot apparently managed to parachute to safety.

It is still not clear what caused the fighter jet to crash near the small village of Baroches (Meurthe-et-Moselle).
