Russia's Strategic Missile Force (SMF) successfully tested the Logistic and Camouflage Support Vehicles (Mion, in Russian), whose task is to make the Topol-M and Yars intercontinental missile systems "invisible", a military source confirmed on Thursday.SMF Lieutenant Colonel Guenrij Gaidvukevich told reporters that during the military drills, the Topol-M and Yars missiles, mounted on mobile launching platforms, moved around constantly while the troops deployed false units with support from the Mion vehicles.
Gaidvukevich explained that this camouflage system will make it impossible for the enemy to control the movements of mobile launching platforms and to find their exact location.
