WZ-10 designer: armed helicopters are no longer 'weak points' of PLA's equipment

WZ-10Armed helicopters, known as "tank killers", of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) used to be taken by the West as the "weak points" of the PLA's equipment.

In an interview on November 6, 2013 at the Chinese Flight Test Center (CFTC) of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), Wu Chengfa, deputy chief designer of WZ-10, pointed out that the statement is no longer tenable since the commissioning of Z-10.

Wu Chengfa expressed that Z-10 has highly-advanced overall performance.
