Criticising the silence of the rulers over the drone attacks, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) provincial head Prof Muhammad Ibrahim Wednesday urged the federal government to order the Pakistan Air Force to shoot down the US spy plane.“The drone attacks are a violation of country’s sovereignty and innocent people are getting killed in these strikes. The government must quit if it can’t save the people from foreign aggression,” he told a party meeting here.
JI district chief Younas Khattak and other officer-bearers were also present at the meeting.
