Assad arms Kurdish PYD with missiles

SA-17 GrizzlyTurkey’s Office of the General Commander of the Gendarme has revealed a report stating that the armed wing of the Kurdish separatist movement in Syria, the PYD, has been given 200 missiles from the Syrian regime leader Bashar al-Assad.

According to Turkey’s Bugun newspaper, PYD commander Sahin Cilo, otherwise known as Ferhat Abdi Sahin, has moved his camp from the Derik district to the Amude district.

Approximately 3000 PKK fighters from Turkey later arrived in the border town of Rasulayn, which is just opposite the Turkish border town of Ceylanpinar, as reinforcements.
