Singapore’s new F-15SG strike aircraft operationally ready

Dr Ng Eng HenSingapore’s new F-15SG multi-role fighter aircraft are now operationally ready, marking Full Operational Capability status with a ceremony officiated by Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen at Paya Lebar Air Base yesterday.

The F-15SG, operated by 149 Squadron, is one of the most advanced variants of the F-15 strike aircraft and has a distinguished combat record.

The Republic of Singapore Air Force took delivery of the aircraft in May 2009.
