Aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt needs more repairs after overhaul at Va shipyard

USS Theodore RooseveltLess than a month after returning from four years in the shipyard, the Navy says the USS Theodore Roosevelt needs more work.

Naval Air Force Atlantic says the aircraft carrier was being kept at Norfolk Naval Station for repairs to its propulsion system.

The USS Roosevelt returned from its mid-life upgrade at Newport News Shipbuilding on Aug. 29 and went out for its sea trial soon afterward.
