Police said the incident took place at 3:30pm at east Burulia of Baghkhali under the upazila.Patia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mofizuddin told bdnews24.com that Flight Lieutenant Arafat, the pilot of the A-5 trainer aircraft, was unharmed.
The China-made aircraft took off from the city’s BAF Zahurul Haq Air Base a few minutes before 3:30pm.
