Faslane
A Scottish naval base which houses Britain's nuclear deterrent could become a sovereign UK territory if the country votes for independence.
Defence chiefs are reportedly looking at alternatives for Faslane, home to the country's four nuclear submarines, ahead of next year's referendum.
The SNP has pledged to abandon the Trident programme in the event of a 'yes' vote.
