Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will pay official visits to Russia and Belarus from May 12 to 17, to boost bilateral ties.
As scheduled, during their talks in Russia, PM Dung and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev will discuss orientations and measures to bolster the bilateral ties in politics, economy, security and defence, as well as to review the implementation of big projects in nuclear power and oil and gas industries.
Speeding up negotiations for a free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Customs Union of Russia-Belarus-Kazakhstan and expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of telecommunications, use of space for peaceful purposes are also highlights of the working agenda, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
