Operational Testing the V-22 for the COD mission

V-22 Osprey |Two V-22s from VMX-22 completed the first phase of Carrier onboard delivery (COD) operations with USS Harry S. Truman April 22, 2013

According to published reports, the first phase began April 19th with the Marines loading and unloading the Ospreys to determine whether the MV-22s can be considered a replacement for aging C-2 Greyhounds.

The evaluation included transferring passengers and cargo.
