Agni-II missile successfully test fired

Agni II |The Strategic Forces Command (SFC) of the Indian Army successfully test-fired Agni-II ballistic missile at 10.25 a.m. on Sunday.

The missile lifted off from a mobile launcher on the Wheeler Island, off the Odisha coast and travelled its entire range of 2000 km before splashing into the sea.

The Agni-II missile can carry nuclear warheads but in this mission it carried a dummy payload.
