Navy plans fresh trial of BrahMos missile

Brahmos firing by INS RajputIndia is preparing to carry out a fresh trial of supersonic cruise missile BrahMos from a warship in Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast.

The test is likely to be conducted on March 9.

Defence sources said though the test was planned for February 28, it was deferred as the launching platform was not ready. The test would be conducted by Indian Navy.
