Moscow concerned over deployment of South Korean missiles


Moscow is concerned over Seoul deploying cruise missiles capable of striking North Korea, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Thursday.

He recalled that Russia has always been up in arms against a spate of US-South Korean agreements on enhancing Seoul’s missile capabilities.

Commenting on North Korea’s recent nuclear test, Lukashevich signaled Russia’s readiness to deal with a new UN Security Council resolution.
