USS John Stennis enters Persian Gulf

USS John C. Stennis |The American aircraft carrier USS John Stennis has passed the Strait of Hormuz and entered the Persian Gulf after patrolling the Arabian Sea together with a guided missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay, the US Navy reports.

The warship is currently docked in Saudi Arabia’s port of Jebel Ali.

On December 28, the USS John Stennis is going to take part in 6-day naval drills in the Strait of Hormuz and the nearby Gulf of Oman.
