Elbit Systems Introduces VWS, a New Radar for APS

VWS RadarElbit Systems Ltd. announced the launch of the VWS radar, a new, continuous wave (CW) radar, specifically designed for Active Protection Systems (APS).

The system provides soft/hard protection and can be easily installed onboard any light or heavy armored vehicle, as well as various stationary applications.

The VWS radar is a cost-effective radar system, able to detect, classify and automatically track Anti Tank Rockets (ATR) as well as Anti Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM), providing 360⁰ of coverage and enabling continuous search of any potential threats.
