SSK Kaluga Leaving Covered Slipway

[SSK Kaluga]JSC Zvezdochka Ship Repair Center will withdraw diesel electric submarine (SSK) Kaluga on May 26, reports Central Navy Portal.

SSK Kaluga is the first Project 877 Varshavyanka Russian conventional submarine passed modernization and interim overhaul over the last twenty years.

The sub arrived at Zvezdochka in 2000 and had been staying at the yard's quay and on slipways for almost 10 years pending repairs.
