BMT Fleet Technology Continues Development of the Contract Design Option for Canada’s Joint Support Ship

[Joint Support Ship (JSS)]BMT Fleet Technology Ltd, a subsidiary of BMT Group Ltd, the leading international maritime design, engineering and risk management consultancy, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 12-month, $9.8M design project to further develop the Contract Design as one possible option for the Canadian Forces' (CF) new Joint Support Ship (JSS).

Following on from BMT Fleet Technology's successful completion of the JSS Preliminary Design, the award of JSS Contract Design is a significant milestone in nearly a decade of close cooperation with the JSS Project Office.

The Joint Support Ship (JSS) project is a Government of Canada capital acquisition project to replace the Royal Canadian Navy's ageing Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) ships.
