Russia tightens grip on its missile shield

RFS Yuri DolgorukiRussian Prime Minister and presidential hopeful Vladimir Putin has published an election program article outlining his stance on national security.

Among other issues, the Russian premier shed light on prospects for re-equipment of the Russian Armed Forces.

The figures featured in the article allow us to take a good guess as to the shape Russia's army will take by the turn of the decade, especially given its strategic nuclear arsenal.
