Russia and China Working on New Programs to Disable Satellites Says U.S. Defence Intelligence Chief

[Lieutenant General Ronald Burgess, Jr., Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency]The director of the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency recently told a Senate committee the agency believes China is developing a space weapon program that can be used against satellites and that Russia is working on technologies to interfere with or disable U.S. satellites.

Army Lt. Gen. Ronald Burgess presented the DIA’s worldwide threat report to the Senate Armed Services committee.
