Vandenberg Air Force Base is set to test another unarmed Minuteman 3 missile early Thursday morning, the second in less than a week from the Central Coast.The weapon is scheduled to blast out of its underground silo on North Base during a six-hour window that will open at 2:01 a.m., officials said.
The Air Force will track the weapon’s dummy warhead as it travels some 4,200 miles southwest of the base to a predetermined target in the central Pacific Ocean.
